Poshmark uses a simple, tiered commission structure. For items that sell for $15 or more, Poshmark takes a 20% commission. For items under $15, a flat fee of $2.95 is charged instead.
This means Poshmark's fee is most favourable for lower-priced items. A $10 item has an effective fee rate of 29.5% ($2.95/$10), while a $100 item pays exactly 20%. The breakeven point is $14.75 — at this price, 20% ($2.95) equals the flat fee.
Poshmark's commission includes payment processing — there are no additional fees for credit card handling. Shipping is handled separately through Poshmark's prepaid label system, which costs $7.67 for Priority Mail (paid by the buyer by default).
